Students Grievance & Redressal Committee
The Institution provides mechanism to the students for redressal of their grievances with regard to their complaints on academic and non-academic matters, Grievances related to Assessment, Attendance, Conducting of examinations and Harassment by colleague students etc.
Procedure for Redressal of Grievances is as Under:
An aggrieved student who has any grievances at the Programme level shall make an application first to the Co- Ordinator/ Class Tutor / HOD as the case may be. They, after verifying the facts will try to readdress the grievance within a reasonable time, preferably within a week of the receipt of application of the student. If the student is not satisfied with the solution of the Co- Ordinator/ Class Tutor, as the case may be then the same should be placed before the principal.
Purpose
The Grievance Redressal cell of the college functions with the following purposes
- To ensure a democratic environment in the campus
- To acquaint all students about their rights and duties
- To solve the various personal and educational related grievances of the students
- To make the institution student friendly and
- To ensure the qualitative as well as quantitative development of the institution through the grievance and redressal cell.
Responsibility for Redressal
- The final responsibility for Grievance Redressal rest with the principal of the college
- The college expects that Grievance Redressal be time bound and result oriented.
- Every Grievance is expected to be resolved within a maximum period of fifteen working days.
- The Grievance Redressal Cell of the college shall monitor status and progress of Grievance Redressal and shall furnish quarterly report on Grievance Redressal position to the Principal.
